The purpose of this paper is to help you critically evaluate nursing theory. This Assignment will be completed using the three stages of the evaluation process.

1. Select one nursing theory (grand, middle range theory) that best suits your area of practice.
2. Discuss your rationale for selecting that theory over the other nursing theories.

4. Use McEwen and Wills (2014) criteria for theory analysis:
   1. Theory’s  origin

5.  Use McEwen and Wills (2014) criteria for theory evaluation:
   1. Significance
   2. Comprehensiveness of the content
   3. Logical congruence (consistency & Clarity)
   4. Credibility
   5. Contribution to nursing
6. Concluding statements summarize the content.

Paper should be 5 pages in length, excluding the title and references pages.
