 Lame Deer, Vision Quest

 Explain how Durkheim agrees with Eliade’s analysis of religion’s functions and show how he interprets them sociologically. Then analyze Lame Deer’s vision quest from Durkheim’s perspective. [3-4 Pages.] 

Compare the definition of “Religion” and “Totem” of Durkheims’ and Lame Deers’ book. (a must)
