The school sent her home and patient will need clearance before she can return to school. Patient also has purulent discharge from her right eye as well as nasal congestion. She has not have any fevers or trauma to the eye. Patient mother reported that other kids in her school have red eye as well and got sent home. Physical exam is pertinent for right eye redness, purulent discharge from right eye. There is no ptosis or erythema. There is no significant PMH except for usual coughs, colds, and tummy aches.Diagnosis: bacterial conjunctivitis
