Instructions
This week, you will prepare a pamphlet. As a social worker, assume you have been asked to address community leaders and members who are advocating for their social and economic needs to be met. For this assignment, select a specific community need you would like to learn more about.
Based on this identified community need, design a mock organization to meet the needs of that community. Identify the mission of your agency in terms of its work for human rights and social and/or economic justice, discuss the services you plan to provide and the populations to be served. You can create any type of agency and be creative in your approach.
Support your assignment with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including seminal articles, may be included.
Length: 2-3 pages, not including title and reference pages

Instructions
Community leaders are open to your ideas and had a few questions. They are looking to see that your plan is evidence-based. They want to see that you are able to formulate policy that will advance the cause of the organization. Prepare a memo for community leaders and fellow social workers as a follow up to address concerns in the first assignment. Now that you have created your mock agency, apply a theoretical perspective to your management of the organization. Be sure to explain how the theory will relate to the management system and document any implications for service delivery in this community.
